Next major fusion in the swimming pool industry: The German Chemoform Group and the French company FIJA join forces to form the CF Group. At the trade fair “interbad 2018” in Stuttgart and the “Piscine Global Europe” in Lyon last November, the CF Group had their first joint appearances. The collaboration between Chemoform AG and FIJA began in 2014 with a joint investment in Aqualux. The positive experiences of this joint venture have now led to the merger of the two family businesses.
Chemoform AG, founded in 1962 in Wendlingen near Stuttgart, recently made a total turnover of 115 million euros. Founded in Brécé, France, in 1975, FIJA Groupe recently generated EUR 70 million, which has been managed since 1993 by Marc Maupas. Together, the new CF Group has 15 brands (including Dinotec, Balena, Delphin, Dr Nüsken, Lacoform, Finesse, Azteck), 820 corporate employees, and twelve production sites, with operations in more than 40 countries. The CF Group will be led by the former CEO of Chemoform AG, Cedrik Mayer-Klenk, who will be the CEO of the new company. The CF Group opens up completely new possibilities, says Cedrik Mayer-Klenk: “She will be present in all areas of the pool business, from manufacturing to maintenance, and will be better able to meet the expectations of customers. At the same time, the group benefits from greater geographic reach and visibility of supply. “The goal for the next ten years is to be present around the world while maintaining proximity to their own customers.
With its product range, the CF Group covers all areas of the pool & spa sector: from the basic pool equipment (technology / filters, etc.) to tailor-made products (covers) and water treatment (chemistry, measurement and control technology) to ready-to-install complete solutions.
